Colorado is stunning any time of year, and especially so when mountain vistas are ablaze with golden aspen. Colorado’s scenery has inspired legions of landscape photographers and this workshop is designed to be there during peak autumn colors with pristine lakes, mountain passes, ghost towns, golden aspen and gamble oaks cascading down mountain vistas. We are headquartered in beautiful Ouray, Colorado, referred to as “ America’s Little Switzerland” nestled among soaring mountains. Join us for cool fall days, crystal blue sky sunshine, and golden fall colors providing dramatic mountain landscapes unrivaled anywhere in the U.S.
I’m very excited to offer this new workshop location in Colorado with co-leader Dennis Flaherty. Dennis has been a full time photographer for over 25 years, lives in Bishop, California, and owns property in Colorado. Dennis has photographed and conducted workshops in the Colorado Rockies numerous times. We are teaming up to offer you a great photo workshop during fall color in the Colorado Rockies.
As most of us realize, fall colors may be unpredictable from one year to the next. Peak color normally occurs during the dates of our workshop. Dennis and I will be on location several days early, scouting the best locations right before you arrive. We will have you in the best locations possible and at the right times of day.
