Would you like to photograph spectacular fall colors in a stunning area with practically no one else around: then we have the perfect workshop for you. In 4 days exploring the upper peninsula, we only saw one group of photographers. Let us show you this beautiful unspoiled area, and learn from our years of experience and time proven tips and techniques.

I’m very excited to offer this workshop for the second time: located in the north woods of Upper Michigan with co-leader John Dykstra. John lives in Michigan and has photographed and conducted workshops in the UP for years. October before last I spent 4 incredible days with John showing me his favorite locations. I was blown away with the pristine beauty and limitless photo opportunities. John and I are teaming up to offer you a great photo workshop during fall color in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We are headquartered in the heart of the best locations in Munising, MI.

The north woods features quiet ponds, lakes with mirrored reflections, clear streams, waterfalls, brilliant red maple trees, white birches, floating bogs, carnivorous plants reindeer moss, lichens, blueberry foliage, and abundant wildlife. Beautiful Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore offers a dramatic meeting of land and Lake Superior. We know the areas well, and will lead you to little known, remote locations at the right time. If you are not familiar with the beauty of the Upper Peninsula, please take a look at my Gallery
