We are pleased to announce our "Eastern Sierra Fall Color and Light Painting" workshop co-led with Dennis Flaherty. Dennis has lived in Bishop, CA for 30 years with his beautiful images culminating in several books and calendars featuring eastern Sierra landscapes.

Our workshop is headquartered at the La Quinta hotel in Bishop, CA, affording us the perfect location for exploring many great destinations. We have a block of rooms set aside, just mention Adam Jones-Dennis Flaherty photo group.

Mono Lake and it's famous tufa towers is another photographers paradise. We'll explore this iconic destination during the best light for incredible photos.

Ancient bristlecone pines are the oldest living trees on the planet, dating back over 4,000 years. Their twisted gnarly trunks and branches are amazing to photograph any time of day. This year we are also photographing these ancient trees framed against night skies filled with dazzling stars of the Milky Way. We'll show you how to capture remarkable stars and celestial gas clouds combined with light painting techniques on graphic bristlecone trees as foreground subjects.

The rounded shapes of the Alabama Hills contrasts sharply with the sharp ridges of the Sierra Nevada to the west. Here we photograph Natural Arch framing Mount Whitney the highest mountain in the contiguous United States. This area is famous for filming television and movie productions, especially Westerns.
